Shower chairs consist of a corrosion resistant frame with a push bar or grip handles. The side fixtures/armrests are removable and/or foldable, thus allowing a sideways transfer. Vario-Chairs are designed to allow easy exchange of seats for use as a commode, care or shower chair.

Stationary Vario-Chairs have four legs.

Vario-Chairs have four small swivel castors (two with locks) that allow easy turning into position. The footrests are removable or may be folded away.

Patient-propelled Vario-Chairs have two large wheels with handrims in the back and two swivel castors up front. The footrests are removable or may be folded away.
