The Company
IUP has been in business since 1991. We employ 16 employees in Germany and Switzerland. For the last two years we have operated in Canada and next year also in America. All our products are manufactured in Germany.
Our aim has always been one hundred percent customer satisfaction and a exeptional standard of quality. The products we sell are designed to meet all expectations and requirements concerning durability, style and ergonomic efficiency.
Our crutches are designed to insure proper posture, and as a result are much healthier for backbones.
Our products prevent blisters on the palm, and are healthier for tendons in the wrist. This allows for a more pleasant experience while requiring support for short and long-term uses.
Doctors know children can be reluctant to use old unsightly crutches that are supplied by hospitals. Our crutches and rollators offer a fun alternative. They are lightweight and come in a variety of colours, which makes them more appealing to use.
During our market research, interviews were conducted with numerous physiotherapists in Canada. It was their consensus that our crutches offer more ergonomic support than standard crutches. Furthermore, they agreed that our crutches could decrease healing time in patients, as they reduce unwanted stress in muscles and joints.
Standard crutches have been used in Canada and America for some time, whereas Germany switched to a design similar to ours after the Second World War. The physiotherapists we interviewed here believe it is time for America to make the same choice.
We also supply after market parts and accessories that make walking aids safer for outdoor conditions, such as in winter and night use.
This year we present our walking aids at Medtrade spring in Las Vegas and the Medtrade in Orlando. Retail stores, orthopaedics, nurses and physiotherapists across Canada and the states were amazed with our products. In October 2008 we will be in Atlanta at Medtrade with new products and designs.
Our full line of canes, crutches, sit- and walk aids are FDA registered in the United States of America.
